This member of the Passifloraceae
family was given this name by W. J. J. O. de Wilde in 1971. It is only
found in Tanzania, growing in a well drained soil. The up to eight
meter vines growing up in the
trees. The caudex can grow to 20
centimetres or more in diameter. The unisexual inflorescent are
greenish yellow. |
