This member of the
Passifloraceae family was
given this name by David John Hearn in 2007. It is found in Ankarana
National Park: northern Madagascar. It is growing in a well
drained soil with some water and some sun. The caudex can grow
to 25 or even 30 centimetres in diameter. The vine-like branched can
reach one meter or more. The small flowers are greenish white.
This plant have been sold as
the red form of
Adenia
epigea. |
