This member of the
Euphorbiaceae family was described by Peter René
Oscar Bally & Leslie Charles Leach in 1975. It is widely
spread in Angola,
Zambia, Rhodesia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Zaire. It grows
in a well drained soil with some water and some sun. The caudex can
grow to ten centimetres in diameter, the branches up to 20
centimetres long. The flowers are pale green with a red centre.
