This member of the
Euphorbiaceae family was
given this name by Francis Buchanan-Hamilton in 1825. It is found in
India and Nepal, growing in a well
drained soil with some water and some sun. The swollen root can
grow to eight centimetres in diameter and up to 20-30 centimetres long.
The plant can also grow up to 20 centimetres. The flowers are cream
to
dark pink. |
