This member of the
Hyacinthaceae family was
given this name by Winsome Fanny Barker in 1984. It is found in the
Cape Province of South Africa, growing in a well
drained soil with some water and some to lots of sun. The bulb
will grow to two and a half centimetre, the leaves reach ten
centimetres high while the pale yellow inflorescents are up to 35
centimetres. They turn reddish by age.
This plant will flower in the
real early spring. |
