This member of the Hyacinthaceae family was given this name
by Stephanus Venter. It is found in South Africa, growing in a well drained soil with some water
and lots of sun. The bulb can grow to six centimetres, the plant
raise up to ten centimetres, but the leaves are aliened with the
ground. The flowers are bluish purple.
