This member of the Saxifragaceae
family was given this name by Adrien René Franchet in 1888. It is
found in the south-western China, growing in a well drained but rich
soil with some to lots of both water and sun. The rhizomes will grow
to six centimetres in diameter, the plant 120 centimetres height.
The flowers are from light pink to red. There are many cultivar
variations. |
