   This member of the Orchidaceae family was given this name by Victor Samuel Summerhayes in 1958. It is found in central and southern Africa, growing in swampy rich peat with lots of water and some to lots of sun. The plant can grow to 30 centimetres with a flower stalk that can reach 150 centimetres, full of yellow flowers. The bulbs can grow to 3,5 centimetres in diameter.
