The yellow flower, seen at Grootscholten.
I thought I had a Impatien mirabilis,
but after it flowered, I don't know whet it is - for now.

This member of the
Balsaminaceae family was described by Joseph Dalton Hooker in 1891.
It is found on the Malaysian island Langkawi. It grows in peat with
lots of water in summer, an some sun. The swollen stem can grow up
to fifteen centimetres in diameter and 60 centimetres high. The
flowers are yellow. |
