   This member of the Hyacinthaceae family was given this name by Franz Speta in 1998, based on DNA tests. It is found in South Africa, growing in a well drained soil with some water and lots of sun. The bulb will grow to five centimetres in diameter, the leaves up to 35 centimetres long. The flowers are blue.
