This member of the Aizoaceae
family was given this name by Nicholas
Edward Brown in 1936. It is found in South Africa and
Namibia, growing in a well drained soil with little water and lots of
sun. The caudex will grow to 3 centimetres in diameter. The stems
will reach for 50 centimetres in height. The flowers are white to orange, and
beside from seeds, the plant can be reproduced by cuttings.
