This little member of
the Hyacinthaceae family was described by Ernst
Jacobus van Jaarsveld in 1994. It is found in the Cape
Province, South Africa, growing in a well drained soil with some
water and lots of sun. The caudex will grow to 18 millimetres in diameter,
the leaf to 20 centimetres. The flowers are white, and beside from
seeds, it can be reproduced by side-bulbs.
