This member of the Asteraceae family was described by Rune
Bertil
Nordenstam. It's found in
Namaqualand, Southern Africa. The caudex will only get two and a
half centimetres in diameter, the leaves are only six centimetres. It prefers
grit or well-drained soil with little water and some sun. The
flowers are yellow, and it can only be reproduced by seeds.
This is a winter-grower, then again:
mine
seems to do fine in summer!
