    This member of the Geraniaceae family was given this name by John Sims in 1804. It is found in the north western Cape of South Africa, growing in a well drained soil with some  water and lots of sun. The swollen root can grow to four centimetres in diameter, the plant up to fifteen centimetres height. The flowers are from pink to dark red.

 This MIGHT be a winter grower.
