    This member of the Amaryllidaceae family was given this name by Hamilton Paul Traub in 1957. The right name might be Rauhia multiflora  Ravenna 1969. It is found in Peru, where it grows in well-drained soil with some water and lots of sun. The leaves will get 30 centimetres long, the onion 15 centimetres in diameter. The flowers are green with little white, and the plant can be reproduced by seeds and by offsets. It is an evergreen plant.
