    This member of the Hyacinthaceae family was described by Anna Amelia Obermeyer in 1980. It is found in Namibia, growing in a well drained soil with some water and lots of sun. The bulb grow up to five centimetres in diameter, the whole plant up to 24 centimetres in height. The flowers are pale mauve.
