This member of the Crassulaceae
family was
given this name
by Hellmut R. Toelken in 1978. It is found
in the eastern Little Karoo, South Africa, growing in a well drained
soil with little water and lots of sun. The caudex can grow to six
centimetres, the whole plant can grow to 30 centimetres in height. The flowers are green to
pale yellow.
