This member of the
Apocynaceae family was described by Alphonse Louis Pierre
Pyramus de Candolle in 1844. It is
found in Port
Elizabeth, South Africa, growing in a well drained soil with
some water and lots of sun. The caudex can grow up to 20 centimetres
or more in diameter, the branches will grow up to 120 centimetres in
length. The flowers are pale pink with a darker tube. |
