This member of the Geraniaceae
family was
given this name by
Étienne Pierre Ventenat
somewhere between 1803 and 1805. It is found in
western South Africa, growing in a well
drained soil with some water and lots of sun. The caudex can
grow to three centimetres in diameter, the whole plant up to fifteen
centimetres height. The flowers are from light yellow to dark crème
colure with red to brownish markings.
This is a winter grower. |
