This member of the
Geraniaceae family was given this name by Augustin Pyramus
de Candolle in 1824. It is found in the summer rain areas of South
Africa, growing in a well drained soil wth some water and some sun.
The caudex can grow up to five centimetres, the whole plant up to 20
centimetres or more. The flowers are white.
