This member of the Pedaliaceae family was
given this name somewhere between1893-1899 by Hans Schinz. It is found in
Ethiopia and central to north-eastern Somalia, growing in a well
drained soil with some water and some to lots of sun. The caudex
can grow to four centimetres, and depending on the location, the
plants grow from five to fifteen centimetres high. The flowers vary
as well, gong from yellow over pink to red.
