   This member of the Passifloraceae family was described by P. Claverie in 1909. It is found on Madagascar, growing in a well drained soil with some water and some sun. The fat stem can grow up to 25 centimetres in diameter and three meters long, The vines up to two meters. The flowers are pale yellow.
