   This newly discovered member of the Hyacinthaceae family was given this name by Franz Speta in 2001. It is found in the Richtersveld, Cape Province, South Africa, growing in a well drained soil with some water and lots of sun. The bulb will grow up to four centimetres in diameter, the whole plant will reach for fifteen centimetres. The flowers are white with a green stripe.
