This member of the Burseraceae
family was given this name by Thomas Archibald Sprague in 1927. It is found in the eastern
part of Africa through Yemen and in to western Asia. It prefers a
well drained soil with some water and lots of sun. The stem can grow
to eighteen centimetres in diameter, maybe more, and the small tree
can reach a height of one and a half or even two metres. |
