I've beeen told the rest of the photos on this page is mis-IDed. It is actually the photos of a Dianthus.

This member of the Poaceae family was given this name by Hans Joachim Conert in 1966. It is found in Namibia and western South Africa, growing in sand with little water and lots of sun. The Rhizomes grow two centimetres in diameter, the whole plant gets five centimetres height. The flowers are pale pink.

IPNI: Gramineae family.
