   This member of the Asteraceae family was described by Friedrich Richard Rudolf Schlechter. It is found in Namaqualand, South Africa, growing in a well drained soil or grit with little water and lots of sun. The stem can grow to three centimetres in diameter, the whole plant up to 30 centimetres height. The flowers are yellow.
