I kept my plant small and well cut for seven years, but my neighbour left the window in our common kitchen open for two nights in a row - with hard frost! I got it confirmed: It cant stand frost!

This member of the Moraceae family was described by Carl Linnaeus the younger in 1782. It's found in India, China and Malaysia. It is really easy, doesn't care much about the soil, some water and from shadow to full sun. The stem will grow up to one meter in diameter and reach 15 meters high. It can be reproduced both by cuttings and seeds.

Perfect for BONSAI.
