This member of the Amaryllidaceae family was
given this name by Anna
Amelia Obermeyer in 1980. It is from southern Africa, growing in well drained
soil, during the winter. Some water and lots of sun. The caudex
grows to 10 centimetres, the entire plant reaches 20 centimetres. The
flowers are white.
This is a winter grower.
