   This member of the Hyacinthaceae family was given this name by Maarten Houttuyn. It is found in south-western South Africa, growing in a well drained soil with some water and some sun. The bulb will grow up to 15 centimetres in diameter, the whole plant reach for up to 25 centimetres. The flowers are orange.
