   This member of the Asteraceae family was described by Carl Linnaeus in 1781. It is found in Namibia and Southern Africa, in grit, with little water and some sun. The caudex will get 30 centimetres in diameter, the leaves only 3 centimetres. The flowers are yellow, and it can be reproduced by cuttings as well.
