This member of the
Apocynaceae was given this name by John Jacob Lavranos &
S.H.J.V. Rapanarivo in 1997. It grows in western Madagascar in a
well drained soil with little to some water and lots of sun. The
stem can grow to fifteen centimetres in diameter, the branches will
grow op to 50 centimetres long. The flowers are yellow.
