This member of the Geraniaceae family was
given this name by Carl Ludwig von Willdenow in 1800. It is found in
South Africa, growing in a well
drained soil with some water and lots of sun. The caudex can
grow up to eight centimetres, the plant up to fifteen centimetres
height, 35 with inflorescence with the pink and maroon flowers.
I am not sure if this is a winter
grower?
