Close ups.

This member of the Solanaceae family was described by Charles Louis Constant Pauquy in 1824. It is found on the Canary Islands Tenerife and Santa Ursula, growing in a well drained soil with some water and some to lots of sun. I think the swollen stem will grow up to 30 centimetres in diameter and reach for up to five meters. The flowers are pale green.

Subfamily: Solanoideae Tribe: Solaneae
