BIHRMANN's THOUGHTS ABOUT
NATURE & CONSERVATION

EXTINCT SPECIES

This is a collection of basic thoughts and facts around nature and conservation. It is a complex area, and I have split it up in several pages.
* Extinct species. Why and how.
* Climate changes. Natural and manmade.
* Mankind's impact on the environment through time.
* Conservation, status and suggestions
* My Contribution to a better world

CLIMATE CHANGES

MANKIND

Preserving the Earth as it is, sounds like a glorious project. On the other hand; the climate and inhabitants of the earth have changed a lot in the past 4.5 billion years.

It seems like the nature of the Earth is changes, and mankind and the species we find around us is here, just for a short period of time.

CONSERVATION

If we see it in the real great perspective, I doubt we can add much to the Earth's coming history.

We will only be a short,  but annoying incidence, and the cyclic and unexpected changes that will come in the next millions of years, will probably wipe out all marks we have left.

BUT THAT IS NO EXCUSE TO RUIN THE MARVELLOUS NATURE WE SHOULD BE PART OF!

M
Y CONTRIBUTION

Work is still needed on these pages, and the finishing will be way out in the future: New problems and solutions comes to my attention.

Some thoughts might offend some people, some facts might change or turnout to be wrong.
