Remove a wheel.                                       More repairs

Tools needed: 4 + 5 mm unbrako
You might want to remove the wheel to change the tire, fix a flat tire, put another rim on, or ship your bike in smaller parts. Anyway, the methods are the same.

Protect your floor - or Strida, and place it up-side-down.

Gentle lead the belt off the big belt-wheel, turning the pedals, if you want to remove the back-wheel.
If it fells too tight, loosen it, using the system from Belt-drive adjustment.

Remove the disc-brakes on the wheel you want to remove with a 5 mm unbrako.

On my bike, there are two washers between the brake and the frame: A cup-shaped black, sitting on the brake, and a flat metal, sitting next to the frame.

They are important, as the adjust the brake to the disc.

Remove the bolt in the axel, holding the magnet / metal disc, with a 4 mm unbrako.

There are several washers on mine in the back. Only one in the front, on the magnet.

The wheel can now be removed for fixing a flat tire, replacement or belt-drive shift.

To replace the back-wheel, put it halfway back on the axel. Mount the belt on the little belt-wheel. Then push it all the way in on the axel.

Replace the bolt with the metal disc/magnet in the axel.

Gentle replace the belt on the the front belt-drive, turning the pedals and leading it with your fingers.

Replace the disc-brake.

Go out for a ride and enjoy your Strida - or send it to somewhere else!
