GPS: 55°49'14.4"N 10°31'34.2"E     55.820667, 10.526167.

Size: 1,3 metres high, 2,8 metres wide and 3,6 meters long.

Meaning of the name: Sailing rock, hence the legend below.

Material: ?

Origin: ?

Legend: The holy man came sailing as a corpse on the Sail Stone, and hence the name Sail Stone was to come. The legends are interwoven with legends about Else Made Source and about the holy man. A holy man came to the island and began to preach the new faith. His pagan opponents shamelessly baptized in the holy fountain, but then declared that now they would baptize the missionary in salt water and dip him in the sea up and down until he drowned. Then they laid him on the beach with a cross on his chest. He was later buried at Onsbjerg Church, and here his cross is hung on the northern cross wall with an inscription from 1590.
