I was not able to find this boulder,
despite I spend six hours on the beach, please
E-mail me, if you do.
This big boulder of Glidestenen
was supposed to be
found in the shallow water out of the
little island Omø, on the eastern shore.
It is said, here are actually two boulders, 10
meters apart. Well, accordantly to the
book; Danske sten fra sagn og tro, by
Mads Lidegaard, 1994.
Should be: Ørevej 41, 4230 Skælskør -
and then east on to the beach ?
GPS: Somewhere around
55.149265, 11.156024 ?
metres high, 2,0 metres wide and 3,0 meters
long - he write.
Meaning of the
name: Sliding rock, as the children
slides down it, into the water.
Klingersten refers to the bell-like
sound, when you hit on it.
Legend: None I
have been able to find.
The locals only knew
the boulder of Badekaret (the bathtub).
It is found at the beach, 310 meters
east-south-east of Dragesvej 24B, 4230
Skælskør: 55°09'45.2"N 11°10'16.4"E
It does not get its own page, as it is
too small: 2,8 meters long, 1,6 metres
wide and around 0,6 metres high.
