This big boulder of Marienborgstenen
found next to the little road of
Sølbjergvej, just east of number 9, on
the island of Møn. It might turn out to
be big surprise, but at present,
it is a massive disappointment. It has
not been excavated yet, and it is
impossible to guess how big it actually
is. At one time, it was partly exposed,
and as fare at a witness remembers, it
is truly impressive, as the photo below
show. Some specialists measured it to
9x4 metres, 370 tons!
Sølbjergvej 9, 4780 Stege.
GPS: 54.943029, 12.182153.
After it have been excavated: 4,2 metres
long, 1,2 metres high and 2,5 metres
wide. Around 20 tons.
Meaning of the
name: It is named by the owner,
after the estate on which field it is
As big as
Morten Flyvebom remembers it. Photo by?

to be significantly smaller than
