Another time

This big boulder of Roskilde is found within Roskilde city. A bit embarrassing, I had forgotten all about it, and it is one of the last I visited - and I live a few kilometres from it....
It was found when the foundation for the Roskilde Hallen was made in around 1959. Holes have been drilled to blast it, but it was saved in the last minute, and is now found right outside the building.

Location: Møllehusvej 15, 4000 Roskilde.
GPS: 55.635960, 12.069543

Size: 2,8 metres high, 2 metres wide and 4,5 meters long. The circumference is 13,2 metres. The stimate weight is 35 tons.

Meaning of the name: Named after the city of Roskilde. Well of Ro or horses?

Material: Greyish-red granite

Origin: ?

Legend: None so far.
