This big boulder of Skåne is found on a restricted area along the bridge to Sweden, right next to an other boulder; Sjælland. It can be accessed by climbing a fence next to the harbour of Kastrup in the southern end, and follow the water on the northern side of the dam for 620 metres.
It was found while excavating to the bridge and tunnel to Sweden and set here along with Sjælland as a monument. It is fiercely overgrown and access is prohibited?!

Location: Kastrup Digevej, eastern part of the harbour, over the fence and 620 metres along the shore.
GPS: 55.633668, 12.668138

Size: 3,5 metres high, 4 metres wide and 4,6 meters long. Estimate weight 105 tons.

Meaning of the name: Named after the southern part of Sweden.

Material: Kalifeldspat granite.

Origin: Småland, Sweden.

Legend: "Skåne" is found at the bottom of Drogden, which is the part of the Sound that lies between Amager and Saltholm. There it lay like a three-meter-high skerry with only about half a meter buried in the seabed.
