Theodor Harms in 1896. It is found in Angola, Ethiopia, Kenya,
Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe, growing in a well drained soil with some to lots of water
and some sun. The vines will reach for five meters. The flowers are tiny and green.
The genera name means
'look like Cyclanthera'. The species name means 'small leaves'.
