was given this name by Mario Martínez-Azorín, Manuel Benito Crespo and Ana Juan in
2011. It is found in the Northern and Western Cape Provinces in South
Africa and in Namibia, growing in a well drained soil like grit and sand with
some water and lots of sun. The caudex can grow to two or even
three centimetres in diameter, the entire plant from five
