This member of the Geraniaceae family was given this name by Elizabeth M. Marais in 1994. It is found in South Africa, growing in a well drained soil with some water and lots of sun. The caudex can grow to five centimetres, the branches up to twelve centimetres height. The flowers are pale crème coloured with red markings.

This might be a winter grower in South Africa.
