This member of the Hyacinthaceae (Liliaceae) was given this name by Stedje & Thulin in 1995. It's from central to southern Africa, growing in well-drained soil with lots of water and some sun. I found mine at Specks Exotica in Erkelens-Golkrath, Germany in 2003.
