This member of the Chenopodiaceae
family was describes by Linnaeus in 1753. It is found on the coasts
of Northern Africa and Southern Europe, growing in salty sand with
some water and lots of sun. The flowers are crème to yellow, and
the plant can be reproduced both by seeds and cuttings.
