This member of the Asclepiadaceae*
family was given this name by Spencer Le Marchant Moore in 1902. It
is found in South Africa, growing in a well drained soil with some
water and some to lots of sun. The caudex can grow up to four
centimetres in diameter, the stems up to fifteen centimetres height.
The flowers are crème coloured and light brown. *This family might been incorporated
in the
Apocynaceae
family now.
