This member of the Burseraceae family was described by Kaj Børge Vollesen in 1985. It is found in the Somali Republic and Ethiopia, growing in grit with some water and lots of sun. It can grow to three meters in height, and probably the same diameter. The small flowers are greenish to yellow.
