   This member of the Araliaceae  family was described by Rudolf Georg Strey in 1973. It is found in the Natal Province of South Africa. It grows in a well drained soil with some water and lots of sun. The stem will grow to 25 centimetres in diameter and reach seven meters in height. The flowers are green.
