This member of the Sapindaceae family was given this name by Hutchinson in 1932. It is found in the Cape province of South Africa and Namibia, growing in well-drained soil with little to some water and lots of sun. It can grow up to six meters, the flowers are green and red, and it can only be reproduced by seeds.
