   This member of the Fabaceae family was described by Spreng. in 1926. It is found in Mozambique and down to South Africa Eastern Cape Province, growing in a well-drained soil with little water and lots of sun. It will rise for 3,5 meters, and has a lot of scarlet flowers. It can be reproduced both by seeds and cuttings.
